Drogheda Comhaltas presents ‘Trad na Samhna’
Almost 60 musicians from Drogheda Comhaltas have been preparing for “Trad na Samhna” over the last few weeks. The youngest member playing on the night will be aged 7 and the most senior will be a fantastic 94 year old lady.
“Trad na Samhna” will also feature groups of musicians from Music Generation Louth and from Scoil Aonghusa, Among the singers on the night will be young Louth and Meath Fleadh winners. Dancers from the Robinson School of Irish dancing, many of whom were prizewinners at the recent Ulster Championships in Armagh, will perform.
Special guests will be the Reel Note Céilí Band from Birmingham and members of the South Birmingham branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann,
